• We currently have a career opportunity available for an experienced Security Officer with Law enforcement OR Military preferred.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Patrol all areas of hotel property (front and back of the hotel) and hotel grounds
• Monitor Security cameras
• Respond to guest and employee accidents and have accurate, detailed investigation reports prepared
• Monitor Fire Panel
• Defuse guest disturbances and remove guests from property if needed
• Perform Security duties for events
• Maintain confidentiality of employee and guest incidents
• Process Lost & Found
• Perform duties and oversee offices on shift.
• We have a full-time and a part-time position available. Full-time schedule is Sunday to Thursday, 3pm-11pm with flexibility needed to cover other shifts as needed. Part-time schedule needs to be flexible.

Preferred Requirements:

• LAW ENFORCEMENT OR MILITARY BACKGROUND PREFFERED.
• Prior Security/Loss Prevention experience, preferably in a hotel
• Valid NYS Security Guard Licenses (8 and 16 hour)
• NYC Fire Life Safety License (Plus)
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Excellent interpersonal/guest service skills
• Flexibility with scheduling
• Computer proficiency is a must
