Key Responsibilities
Overall areas of responsibilities and activities
- Daily Cash Management: Monitor and manage the company's daily global cash position, executing intercompany transfers and external funding as required to optimize liquidity.
- Payment Operations: Oversee all outbound payment processing (AP wires, ACH, FX transactions), ensuring timely execution, fraud prevention, and compliance with all bank security protocols.
- Banking & Systems: Manage relationships with all banks, financial institutions, and payment processors. Administer and troubleshoot treasury management systems (TMS) and electronic banking portals.
- Forecasting: Prepare short-term cash flow forecasts (e.g., 13-week) to predict liquidity needs and identify surplus cash for investment.
- Compliance: Ensure all treasury activities comply with internal policies, external regulations (e.g., KYC, AML), and bank agreements.
Requirements
Educational background and previous experience required for the role.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate Treasury, Cash Management, or Banking Operations.
- Proven experience administering electronic banking platforms and executing high-volume payment transfers (domestic and international).
Qualifications and experience
- Professional certification such as CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) is highly desirable.
- Experience with a Treasury Management System (TMS) and integrating payment files with an ERP system.
- Working knowledge of foreign exchange (FX) settlement and currency risk management concepts.
Specific skills
- Expert knowledge of bank transfer methods (e.g., ACH, Fedwire, SWIFT, SEPA).
- Strong proficiency in cash flow modelling and daily reconciliation processes.
- Excellent analytical skills for monitoring banking fees and optimizing transaction costs.
