Job Description
Overlanders Manufacturing is seeking an experienced CNC Press Brake Operator to join our team. We are looking for a skilled operator with strong mechanical and mathematical abilities and at least 1 years of experience. The ideal candidate is a reliable team player with excellent attendance, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate Press Brake Machines to bend sheet metal accurately.
  • Set Up Machines with correct tooling and settings.
  • Read Blueprints and work orders to understand job specs.
  • Perform Bending Operations and adjust machines as needed.
  • Program CNC Machines with job parameters when required.
  • Inspect Parts using measuring tools to ensure quality.
  • Troubleshoot Issues and report problems to supervisors.
  • Follow Safety Procedures and wear proper PPE.
  • Manage Time to meet production goals.
  • Handle Materials safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • 2+ years of press brake operation experience.
  • Ability to read blueprints and job specs.
  • Skilled in using measuring tools like calipers and gauges.
  • Knowledge of sheet metal prep and machine mechanics.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
  • Familiar with safety protocols and proper lifting techniques.
  • Able to optimize setups and improve production efficiency.
  • Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Works well in a team environment and communicates clearly.

Employment Details:
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced production setting with repetitive tasks.
  • Night Shift: Monday to Thursday, 4:15pm to 2:15am (40 Hours per week).
  • Wage: $22 - $24 per hour plus $1.50 per hour night shift premium. 
  • Wage is negotiable based on experience and skills, with higher rates offered to candidates with extensive experience.
  • Benefits: Available after probation period.
  • Reviews: Performance and wage reviews at 3, 6, and 12 months.
