- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with staff, administrators, vendors, government agencies and school office personnel concerning payroll/benefits information.
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines
- Experience with computerized finance / payroll software (SchoolFi preferred)
- Experience with MS Office and Google Suite, (experience with ALIO software preferred)
- Precision in data entry with superior attention to accuracy and detail
- Knowledge of federal and state taxation laws, state pensions and other employee deductions
- Working knowledge of all pension related information/both TPAF and PERS
- Knowledge of state auditing procedures
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable

POSITION: Payroll Specialist
QUALIFICATIONS: The Payroll Specialist position is an executive level position and requires a high level of skill and competence.
REPORTS TO: School Business Administrator/Board Secretary
CONTRACT SCHOOL YEAR: 12 month position available June 1, 2026
SALARY: Commensurate with skill set and experience
BENEFITS: Benefits package after completion of successful sixty (60) day probationary period.
