Within Sales, we're focused on achieving outperformance across all of our channels, operating in highly competitive categories. This focus results in a dynamic, fast paced environment where cross functional teams are encouraged to collaborate to achieve success.
We have around 10,000 sales people across the world, within market roles and ranging in areas like Field Sales, Key Accounts, Trade Marketing and Category Development.
About the role
You will lead the brand commercial strategy to deliver excellence in distribution, pricing, promotion, shelf placement and second display, with the goal of driving profitable growth both for our brand and for the Category within our customers.
Leveraging on a solid sales and trade marketing background within FMCG, you will have a full ownership about brand P&L, starting from an accurate forecasting to an effective trade spending management (e.g., contract, conditional promo discount, listing fees).
Your responsibilities
Setting a long-term category growth strategy where our brand plays the role of value generator.
Building the annual Brand Plan by working closely with the multifunctional team (marketing, channel activation, supply, finance).
Reporting regularly to the Management Team about the financial and in-market performance, and set actionable execution plans to deliver company targets.
Deploying Category & Brands Plans to Sales Teams during quarterly meetings.
Interacting with relevant sales stakeholders to spot opportunities and tackle execution challenges.
Support Sales in key negotiations & Top-to-Top meetings with our customers.
Being the line manager of an Associate.
The experience we're looking for
Master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration or Engineering
At least 5 years of experience in both sales and trade marketing within FMCG/Consumer Pharma industry, with proven experience in key account management roles.
Deep Sales knowledge and understanding of retail practice.
Advanced knowledge of Excel.
Fluency in Italian and English.
Strong analytical skills.
