Job Description

JOB TITLE: Security Lead

REPORTS TO: Security Manager

Eligible candidates must be flexible to work either Mid Shift (2:30pm-11pm) on a regular basis.

As a Security Lead within the Landmark, you will serve as a key ambassador of safety, discretion, and operational excellence—ensuring the protection of our clients, employees, and iconic assets within one of our most prestigious global locations.

This elevated role requires a strategic mindset, refined leadership, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. In addition to supporting daily security operations, the Security Lead plays a critical role in developing Security Leads and strengthening the overall security framework.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management

  • Provide direction and oversight to on-site security personnel, ensuring optimal deployment and seamless coverage across all floors and client touchpoints. 
  • Lead by example through professionalism, accountability, and elevated service standards.
  • Coordinate execution of security training programs for both the store and security teams within the Landmark, ensuring alignment with overall security objectives.

Talent Development

  • Cultivate a high-performing team through mentorship, structured training, and ongoing feedback. 
  • Support the growth and readiness of Security Leads, reinforcing a culture of continuous development.
  • Partner with Security Managers on conducting comprehensive onboarding and ongoing refresher training pertaining to security protocols. 
  • Act as a senior subject matter resource and mentor for employees and junior training staff regarding security training content and best practices.

Operational Excellence

  • Execute and uphold all security protocols and procedures with precision. 
  • Oversee incident response, access control, and surveillance systems while maintaining a proactive presence on the floor. 
  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure the integrity of physical security measures.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all incidents and daily activity. 
  • Support audits and security assessments by providing detailed reporting and insights.
  • Maintain training calendars, attendance records, and compliance documentation, ensuring adherence to all internal and external regulatory standards.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with internal teams—including Retail, Operations, and Hospitality—to ensure seamless and secure client experience.
  • Engage with external partners and stakeholders with professionalism and discretion.
  • Partner with Security Management population to drive updates and improvements to training programs based on thorough analysis of incident data, audit findings, and regulatory requirements.

Risk Management & Preparedness

  • Identify potential vulnerabilities and implement strategic solutions to mitigate risk.
  • Contribute to emergency preparedness planning and ensure readiness across all scenarios.
  • Be able to communicate rapidly and effectively.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field; luxury retail or hospitality environment preferred 

  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to coach, develop, and influence teams 

  • Strong understanding of security systems, including CCTV, access control, and incident management protocols 

  • Ability to assess risk, make sound decisions, and respond effectively in high-pressure situations 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail in reporting 

  • Professional presence with a high level of discretion and integrity in a client-facing environment 

  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs 

  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout a multi-floor environment for extended periods

The hiring range for this position ranges from $22.53 - $30.48. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates’ relevant skills and experience.
