What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access coordination, and emergency communication activities at a busy industrial location.
- Monitor radio, telephone, and/or electronic communications to dispatch personnel, route calls for service, and relay real-time updates during routine operations and critical situations.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with supervisors, first responders, and/or site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around production areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify security-related concerns and report maintenance and/or access issues.
- Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and dispatch records, and help support site-specific policies, traffic flow, and visitor management procedures throughout the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Security experience of at least 1 year is required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
