Position Overview
Clark-Pleasant Academy is partnered with the Simon Youth Foundation. This is an alternative education setting for high school students but placement is not based on disciplinary issues. Students must earn the right to be accepted to CPA.
Responsibilities
1. Deliver appropriate instruction for Mathematics.
2. Develop effective instructional strategies and assessments that focus on corporation expectations and state standards.
3. Demonstrate a commitment to professional growth.
4. There must be a commitment to being an instrumental part of an instructional team.
5. Work in an alternative educational setting with associated responsibilities beyond mathematics instruction.

Based on Master Contract.

Qualifications:
1. The preferred candidate should be licensed in Mathematics.
2. The preferred candidate will have experience working with high school students.
3. The preferred candidate will have the skills to work collaboratively and cooperatively with the teachers and stakeholders.
4. The preferred candidate should have background knowledge of alternative education and possess a love for students who crave an alternative educational setting.
