As a Speech Therapist with The Arc of the Ozarks, you’ll have the opportunity to work directly inside school environments, meeting students right where they are and providing support in one of the most pivotal developmental settings of their lives. What You’ll Do
- Provide assessments, diagnoses, and treatment for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Deliver services on-site in schools, building relationships with students, teachers, and the educational team
- Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, educators, and other professionals
- Support and supervise SLP-A
- Utilize evidence-based techniques to create measurable progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold the Missouri DESE qualification standard
- Continue growing through professional development
- Be available on-site two days per week
What You Bring
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Missouri SLP license
- ASHA CCCs
- Experience assessing, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of communication disorders
- Commitment to student-centered, school-based intervention
- Passion for making a difference through connection, compassion, and communication
