We’d like to welcome an Assistant Branch Manager responsible for providing an exceptional Member service experience by assisting the Vice President/Branch Manager in delivering the vision, leadership, knowledge and support necessary to branch associates.
JOB REQUIREMENTS/RESPONSIBILITES:
With a sense of urgency and purpose, the Assistant Branch Manager assists the Vice President/Branch Manager with providing vision and leadership to branch associates and ensures the branch is exceeding Member expectations by empowering associates and maintaining a work environment which instills motivation, teamwork, and enterprising attitudes. This individual is dedicated to meeting our Member’s financial needs; meeting individual and Credit Union specific goals. This position is expected to step in as the branch leader in the absence of the Vice President/Branch Manager.
The person assuming the role of an Assistant Branch Manager must have ability to directly and indirectly supervise a branch team of any size and complexity.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE PREREQUISITES:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- College degree or equivalent work experience in the financial service industry preferred.
- Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in supervision and/or management within a financial institution with mastery level knowledge of branch depository and loan operations; sound knowledge of methods and principles of financial services practices and standards including product offerings with an emphasis on superior Member service expectations.
- Must have strong Member relationship building skills, ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Must have the ability to be productive, multitasked, results oriented, and with good computer aptitude.
- Thorough understanding of physical security, controls, standards and practices for cash/negotiable items/keys in the financial services industry.
- Previous experience and ability to train developing Member Service and Financial Service representatives in sound practices of their related job duties and responsibilities.
- Experience with writing and conducting employee performance evaluations and disciplinary actions, as well preparing employee skill assessments, performing skill observations and conducting employee coaching sessions.

PAY RANGE:
In accordance with California’s Pay Transparency Act, the expected salary range for this position is between:
$34.04 - $42.55
Actual pay will be determined based on a candidate’s specific qualifications, including their knowledge, skills, education and experience, internal equity consideration, as well as other job-related factors permitted by law.
