ADON/ADNS/ Assistant Director of Nursing

The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) plays a key role in supporting a warm, caring, and resident-focused environment within our nursing home. as the ADNS Assistant Director of Nursing you will be working closely with the Director of Nursing, the ADON Assistant Director of Nursing helps guide and support our nursing team to ensure every resident receives compassionate, high-quality care that honors their dignity, comfort, and individuality.

This position helps oversee daily clinical operations, partners with staff to solve problems, and ensures our care practices reflect our commitment to safety, respect, and excellence. The ADON, Assistant Director of Nursing assists with mentoring nursing staff, encouraging teamwork, strengthening communication, and helping everyone feel confident and supported in their roles. They also participate in care planning, maintain regulatory compliance, and help keep the facility survey-ready through consistent quality standards.
