Schedule: 12‑hour night shift (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) | 2‑2‑3 rotation schedule
About the Role
The Process Engineer / Supervisor – Night Shift is responsible for meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) and for improving departmental efficiency, while providing nightly oversight of Processing operations across the ScMM and Conventional Factories.
This role blends technical process engineering expertise with hands‑on operational leadership, ensuring safe, efficient, and consistent production during overnight operations. The Process Engineer / Supervisor serves as a key technical and people leader, working closely with Processing, Quality, Sanitation, and other cross‑functional teams to maintain performance, reduce variability, and drive continuous improvement.
What You'll Do
Operational & Technical Leadership
- Provide nightly oversight of Processing operations for ScMM and Conventional factories
- Work assigned night shift and adjust shifts as required by business needs
- Monitor and troubleshoot Siemens PCS7 and Cobra Process Control Systems, including software and hardware issues
- Create documentation, log system, and process issues, and follow up on corrective actions
- Trend process performance and waste data to identify variability and drive reduction initiatives
- Maintain a deep understanding of product attributes and the impact of processing parameters
Process Improvement & Reliability
- Champion ideas and suggestions to simplify, standardize, and improve work processes
- Proactively communicate with cross‑functional departments to anticipate and resolve process flow challenges
- Stay current on technological advances, system upgrades, and industry best practices
- Provide regular status updates on active issues, projects, and improvement initiatives
Quality, Food Safety & Compliance
- Manage HACCP documentation and support relevant QA/QC procedures
- Assist in facilitating strong sanitation, cleaning, and shift‑to‑shift handoff practices
- Support adherence to food safety, quality, and regulatory standards during overnight operations
Collaboration & Leadership
- Work closely with the Processing team and remain available and/or on‑call as operational needs arise
- Influence and support teams in adapting to new ways of working and process changes
- Execute additional duties as assigned to support plant performance\
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science (required)
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Process Engineer
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Process Supervisor or production leadership role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated expertise in plant operations and hands‑on experience with control panels, computer terminals, and automated control systems
- Experience with Siemens PCS7 and Cobra preferred
- Strong understanding of complex technical manufacturing environments
- Experience coordinating daily production objectives and setting priorities to meet production plans
- Proficiency with at least one Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, preferably SAP
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced operations environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence others
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships across diverse teams
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Demonstrated ability to drive change and innovation while delivering high‑quality results
- Ability to understand, influence, and guide teams through process and operational change
