Job Description

Position summary: Provides replacement parts support to our organization.


General Purpose: To assist customers (internal & external) in obtaining replacement parts for the products we support.


Role qualifications:

  • Must be knowledgeable on the equipment we support (material handling and construction types).
  • Must have excellent customer service attitude.
  • Must partner with sales and service teams to ensure effective response to customers.


Position responsibilities:

  • Take phone calls for parts needs.
  • Fill customer and internal requests – check all resources if parts aren’t in stock
  • Place requisitions for parts (via computer) as needed for customers.
  • Assist our technicians with their parts needs, to include helping them determine which parts are needed.
  • Pull parts from stock to fill orders.
  • Prepare parts quotes for outside customers – follow up to secure order.
  • Complete parts quotes for service jobs, forward to service department.
  • Assist walk-in customers with their parts needs.
  • Assist with the annual parts physical inventory.
  • If assigned, perform physical inventory of road vans and/or Consignments.
  • Back up other parts counter staff.
  • Performs other duties or projects as assigned by Regional Parts Mgr.
