Description
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of all facility infrastructure, equipment, and systems. This role leads maintenance operations, drives preventative maintenance execution, and enforces compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, hands-on problem-solving ability, and a results-driven mindset focused on uptime, efficiency, and accountability.
Primary Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary leader for all maintenance operations, ensuring equipment uptime and facility reliability
- Develop and execute preventative maintenance (PM) programs to minimize downtime and extend asset life
- Oversee maintenance of all facility systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment
- Lead, coach, and manage maintenance personnel to ensure strong performance and accountability
- Enforce all plant policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements (OSHA, EPA, etc.)
- Ensure timely response and resolution of equipment failures and safety-related work orders
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, efficiency, and waste reduction
- Manage CMMS system (e.g., eMaint) to track work orders, PM schedules, and maintenance metrics
- Coordinate maintenance projects and support capital improvement initiatives
- Partner with operations and leadership to align maintenance priorities with production goals
- Oversee maintenance purchasing and ensure availability of parts, tools, and supplies
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, safety actions, and compliance records

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proven experience in maintenance leadership within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong knowledge of facility systems, equipment repair, and preventative maintenance practices
- Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Experience with CMMS systems (e.g., eMaint preferred)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to troubleshoot issues, make decisions quickly, and drive results
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
