Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Security Guard with specialized skills in bouncing and shelter management to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the client's premises, patrons, and staff, with a focus on handling situations that may arise in a Shelter-like environment. Additionally, the candidate should have expertise in access control & de-escalation tactics.

**Responsibilities:**
1. Conduct routine patrols of the premises to ensure security and safety.
2. Enforce access control procedures, including verifying the identity of individuals and restricting access to authorized personnel only.
3. Provide crowd control and manage entry and exit points during high-traffic events or busy periods.
4. Utilize verbal de-escalation techniques, and to handle disruptive behavior or conflicts in a shelter-like environment.
5. Maintain accurate logs and records of security-related activities, incidents, and observations.
6. Collaborate with other security team members and staff to maintain a cohesive and effective security program.
7. Stay updated on security protocols, procedures, and relevant regulations to ensure compliance and effectiveness in performing duties.

**Requirements:**
1. Proven experience as a Security Guard, preferably with specialized training or experience in bouncing and crowd control.
2. Valid NYS security guard license and up-to-date certification as required by the state.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of people.
4. Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure and handle challenging situations with professionalism and tact.
5. Physical fitness and stamina to perform duties that may require standing, walking, or patrolling for extended periods.
6. Basic understanding of surveillance and security systems.
7. Must have Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
8. High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications in security or related fields is a plus.
