Position Summary
RBCI is seeking a Sustainment/Pre-Production Lead (ERSS/ERCS) to provide the Navy Medical Readiness Logistics Command (NMRLC) with a broad range of supply chain and logistics functions in a warehouse environment. This work is onsite at the Williamsburg, VA office.
This position is contingent upon contract award.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee sustainment and pre‑production operations for ERSS and ERCS platforms, ensuring rapid deployability and uninterrupted clinical capability in combat or contingency environments.
- Direct daily pre‑production and sustainment activities including planning pulls, material preparation, pre‑labeling, kitting, staging, and configuration of highly mobile medical assets.
- Ensure ERSS kits supporting 1–2 operating tables are correctly configured with surgical, anesthesia, and trauma‑care components suitable for austere, forward environments.
- Sustain ERCS material sets used in patient transport and aeromedical evacuation, ensuring availability of monitoring, oxygen, suction, and critical‑care components required during movement.
- Manage the replacement and re‑kitting of expiring or expired sterile supplies, consumables, and mission‑essential items to maintain a continuous Ready‑For‑Issue (RFI) posture.
- Identify and resolve shortages, overages, misconfigurations, and late‑arriving components to preserve modular integrity and deployment readiness.
- Oversee containerization and staging of ERSS and ERCS material into shipping containers or onto 463L aircraft pallets, supporting air, ground, and maritime transport.
- Apply detailed knowledge of load planning, weight distribution, securing, and marking requirements for rapid deployment and aeromedical transport compatibility.
- Supervise and direct assigned personnel, coordinating workflow and prioritizing tasks to meet surge requirements and compressed timelines.
- Ensure all sustainment and pre‑production actions are accurately documented in authorized inventory and logistics management systems.
- Operate and oversee the safe use of material handling equipment to move, stage, and prepare ERSS/ERCS assets.
- Coordinate closely with Biomedical, Shelf‑Life, Production, Inventory, and Government stakeholders to ensure mission alignment and readiness.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, handling, and operational requirements.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management in support of mission readiness.
Qualifications
- Shall have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Shall have experience leading staff and executing sustainment or production operations for time‑critical, deployable medical systems.
- Shall have experience planning and executing material pulls, kitting, configuration control, labeling, discrepancy resolution, and containerization.
- Shall have experience preparing material for aeromedical evacuation or transport environments.
- Shall have experience loading and staging assets into shipping containers and onto 463L aircraft pallets.
- Shall be capable of operating various types of material handling equipment.
- Shall possess a valid driver's license and be capable of operating stand‑up and 4,000–6,000 lb forklifts.
- Shall demonstrate strong leadership, attention to detail, and performance under high operational tempo.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.
