Duties

As a Certified Home Health Aide, some of your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting clients with personal care tasks.

• Providing companionship to clients and fostering a positive environment.

• Preparing meals tailored to individual dietary needs.

• Supporting clients with mobility needs and ensuring their safety at all times.

• Engaging in activities that promote comfort and connection.

• Performing light housekeeping tasks.

• Documenting care activities and reporting any changes in clients’ conditions.

Live-In Shift Details

• Shift Schedule: Live-in aides are provided with 24-hour accommodation, and the schedule includes 3 days on, 4 days off (or customized schedule depending on client needs).

• Rest Periods: Aide is provided with adequate sleep, and meal breaks during the night (typically 8 hours of sleep time).

• Responsibilities During Off Hours: During off hours, aides are expected to be on-call and available for emergency assistance, but most of their time will be off-duty for rest.

Experience

Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:

• A caring attitude and patience are essential qualities for this role.

• Prior experience in delivering compassionate care to individuals.
