Scope of Eligibility
Open to permanent employees in a competitive title in the New Jersey State Parks Division, who meet the requirements below.

Description
Under the limited supervision of a supervisory official in a state department, agency, or institution, provides front-line and behind the scenes customer and other support services involving the review, processing and issuance of agency documents; provides information to customers regarding department/agency programs and services; may provide guidance and assistance to clerical staff; does other related work as required.

Specific to the Position
This position is responsible for preparation, submission, and maintenance of fiscal records for the site including all billing and purchasing. Position also serves as primary point of contact for public inquiries, and provides a wide range of support functions to administrative, interpretive, and maintenance staff.

*Due to nature of the role, this position is performed exclusively on-site.

Preferred Skill Set
Organization, participation, familiarity with billing & NJ Start, cheerful disposition, One Drive proficiency, ability to multi-task, leadership.

Requirements
EXPERIENCE:

Two (2) years of experience providing information and support to customers or clients, responding to technical inquiries and/or complaints regarding products, services or programs, or collecting payments in a government or office setting.

License
Appointees will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.
