Mint Health & Drugs is seeking a Part time Front End Clerk to join our Calmar, AB team.  Front End Clerks are focused on providing excellent customer service from the minute they enter the store, until they pay for the purchase and exit the store. Key duties include bagging items, processing payments, managing returns, maintaining store cleanliness, and organizing merchandise. The role requires strong communication and multitasking abilities.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Customer Service & Checkout: Greeting customers, scanning items, handling cash/card payments, processing returns, and resolving customer complaints.
• Store Maintenance: Maintaining a clean and organized checkout area, cleaning spills, and organizing displays.
• Merchandise Handling: Returning unwanted items to shelves (go-backs) and restocking front-end inventory.
• Safety Compliance: Following health and safety policies

Requirements and Skills

• Education: High school diploma
• Communication: Strong verbal communication skills in English
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, walk frequently, and lift items.
• Interpersonal Skills: Friendly, professional demeanor with the ability to handle stressful situations.
• Retail Experience: Previous experience in retail, cashiering, or customer service is a plus.
• Ability to work independently : Saturday only 1 staff required

Work schedule : Wednesday 9 – 6pm Saturday 10 – 3pm

Compensation : Starting wage is $15.00 per hour
