Supply Chain Analyst

Responsible for managing transportation operations, controlling freight spend, and optimizing logistics performance across the supply chain. This role partners with third-party logistics providers, finance, and internal business units to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and compliant transportation activities while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

 Including but not limited to:

Transportation & Constraint Management

  • Manage and analyze company transportation spend to ensure cost efficiency and budget alignment.
  • Support cost studies and provide analysis to guide strategic sourcing and operational decisions.
  • Coordinate among suppliers and plants to address supply chain disruptions such as supplier shortages, shipping delays or acts of god by securing alternate sourcing, expedite shipments and manage capacity issues
  • Inform cross functional teams and provide recommendations regarding supplier relief request
  • Manage large-value and international freight claims, coordinating with providers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
  • Oversee cargo insurance processes and ensure shipments are properly protected based on value and risk exposure.

Carrier & 3PL Management Contracts

  • Maintain strong relationships with carriers and third-party logistics provider (3PL) to ensure service performance and issue resolution.
  • Escalate operational or 3PL Provider service issues and work collaboratively to implement corrective actions.
  • Support carrier selection and contract management initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred
  • 2-4 Years experience in transportation contracts, or Material Planning & Logistics (MP&L)
  • Experience with ERP systems; preferred SAP & Plex
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with carriers, 3PL providers, and freight claims
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
