Description

Expo/Food Runner

We are looking for a motivated Expo/Food Runner to join our team! 

You are great at managing multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment. With special attention to the details, you care about performing quality work and overall contributing to a friendly and productive team atmosphere. 

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and coordinate the preparation and delivery of food orders from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring timely and accurate service.
  • Inspect dishes to ensure they meet the restaurant's quality standards and presentation guidelines before they are served to guests.
  • Verify that each order is complete and correct, including any special requests or dietary restrictions.
  • Act as a liaison between the back-of-house and front-of-house, communicating any delays, changes, or issues with orders.
  • Assist servers and kitchen staff as needed, including running food, clearing plates, and restocking supplies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized expo station, following all health and safety regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing any guest concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Quickly identify and resolve any issues that arise during service, such as incorrect orders or delays.

Qualifications



  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • Basic knowledge of food safety and handling

  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

  • The Expo may be exposed to hot and cold temperatures, as well as potentially slippery surfaces.
