Digital Design Internship – Web & Social Media

Location: Hallam
Type: Internship Part-Time; 1 day for 12 weeks
Industry: Vocational Education & Training (Truck & Forklift Licensing)

We are a leading Registered Training Organisation (RTO) specialising in truck and forklift licensing across Victoria. Our mission is to deliver high-quality, industry-relevant training that empowers individuals to build successful careers in transport and logistics. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a creative and motivated Design Intern to support our digital marketing and brand development initiatives.

 

The Opportunity

This internship offers an excellent opportunity for a talented Designer specialising in web and social media channels to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, fast-growing training organisation. You will work closely with our marketing and operations teams to design compelling content that enhances our online presence and drives engagement.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and design creative assets for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube).
  • Assist in designing and optimising website landing pages, ensuring strong visual appeal and user experience.
  • Create branded templates for digital marketing campaigns and email communications.
  • Support the execution of social media campaigns, including content scheduling and visual strategy.
  • Collaborate on digital storytelling initiatives to showcase student experiences, courses, and industry impact.
  • Contribute to marketing ideation sessions and help shape the organisation’s visual identity.


Desired Skills & Attributes

  • Currently studying or recently completed a qualification in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Marketing, or related fields.
  • Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, or After Effects) or equivalent tools.
  • Familiarity with web design platforms (e.g., WordPress, Webflow, or similar) and basic understanding of UX principles.
  • A keen eye for detail, strong visual aesthetics, and the ability to work to brand guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and time-management skills.
  • Video editing and content creation experience will be considered highly advantageous.
