Lone Star Bakery, Inc. is looking for an Apprentice Electrician to days ensure all aspects of electrical processes are properly executed as instructed by the Master Electrician.

Day Shift: 7am to 3:30pm

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Installs all types of conduit.
• Sizes and pulls wire.
• Uses multi-meter for testing and troubleshooting electrical problems.
• Reads and understands electrical wiring diagrams.
• Installs low and high voltage distribution panels as well as control panels.
• PM electrical components and panels.
• Uses MP2 for work orders, PM, and parts location, usage and ordering.
• Notifies supervisor of any issues or equipment malfunctions.

Job Requirements, Education, & Certifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must have general knowledge of equipment operations and MP2
• Must be able to size, bend and install EMT, IMC and ridged conduit per NEC
• Ability to use multi-meter to test AC/DC voltage, amperage and continuity
• Must have strong verbal communication skills.
• Must have ability to read and write English.
• Must be able to follow directions.
• Knowledge of GMPs and Lock-out / Tag-out procedures
• Adheres to Machine Guarding process.
• Ability to be on feet all day and perform walking, stooping, and bending functions as required.
• Ability to work at steady and continuous pace and to keep up with manufacturing production.
