We’re seeking the right candidate for the position of Activities Assistant at Baton Rouge Healthcare Center. In this vital role, you’ll ensure that our residents receive the highest level of care while collaborating with a dedicated team, providing exceptional clinical leadership and support.

What You Bring to the Table:

Essential Qualifications: 

• ·         Responsible for organizing, coordinating, marketing and advertising monthly community events under direction of Activities Director.
• ·         Contributing to the facility efforts to maintain and/or improve quality of care for each resident through participation in daily activities.
• ·         Responsible for establishing, developing and carrying out age-related, functional impairment based, and dementia appropriates unique group based and individualized activities.
• ·         Fostering family and community support of the activity program.
• ·         Encouraging resident participation in each daily activity.
• ·         Creatively prepare a monthly themed activity calendar for the residents.
• ·         Budgeting of monthly activity expenses Ongoing development and implementation of an activities program designed to meet the social, psychosocial and therapeutic needs of each resident.

Requirements

The Ideal Candidate:

• ·         Activity Assistant Director is certified, creative, and upbeat!
• ·         *Must be a licensed driver. *
• ·         Licensed or registered, if applicable by the State in which practicing.
• ·         Valid CNA license.
• ·         Has completed a training curse approved by the State.
