About the Role 

We’re looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our Business Intelligence team on an initial 12-month fixed term basis and help shape the future of data at O’Brien® Glass. 

In this role, you will design, build, and maintain reliable end-to-end data pipelines and models that support accurate, timely, and trusted insights across the organisation. 

Working closely with the Business Intelligence Manager, you’ll play a key role in improving data quality, automating core processes, and lifting our overall data capability. 

What You’ll Be Doing 

  • Building and maintaining automated data pipelines, transformations, and reporting solutions 

  • Ensuring data accuracy and reliability through rigorous testing and validation 

  • Analysing complex business and financial data to support decision-making 

  • Troubleshooting data issues and supporting continuous improvement initiatives 

  • Partnering with IT, BI, and business stakeholders, along with external consultants 

What You’ll Bring 

  • 4–5 years’ experience in Data Engineering or BI 

  • Strong SQL, ETL/ELT, and data modelling expertise 

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills 

  • Strong business acumen and attention to detail 

  • Bachelor degree and/or relevant vendor certifications 

Nice to Have: 

  • Snowflake certification 

  • Experience with Finance, Supply Chain, Service Management, or Call Centre systems
