OTR Responsibilities:

  • Complete evaluations assessing residents’ functional, cognitive, and physical abilities

  • Develop and implement individualized, goal-driven treatment plans

  • Provide OT interventions focused on ADLs, self-care, upper extremity strength, and functional mobility

  • Educate residents, families, and staff on therapy goals and strategies

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care

  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation per regulatory standards

  • Promote a safe, encouraging therapeutic environment that supports resident independence
