Description

Purpose

The MRO Receiving and Inventory Professional is responsible for all aspects of MRO inventory in the plant including: receiving, overall storeroom operations, and inventory management.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Daily coordination of tracking, receiving, and expediting of goods and services at the plant site, and ensuring that these are delivered in a timely manner and at maximum total cost benefit
  • Knowledge and understanding of supplier site requirements to ensure safety and policy enforcement during supplier visits
  • Responsible for picking and kitting items for maintenance jobs and work orders
  • Champions site warehouse improvement efforts
  • Inspects kitted items for accuracy and keeps maintenance technicians informed of completed kits and all related details
  • Coordinates with Reliability MRO Manager for Item Master Entry
  • Validate storeroom inventory to ensure removal of obsolete parts
  • Electronically issues and returns all storeroom items within Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and assists maintenance technicians with requisition entry
  • Responsible for processing of all specialty tooling in the tool room
  • Manage VMI areas for overages, stock outs and cleanliness
  • Collect barcodes for issued inventory and submit to one location daily
  • Maintain packaging Items, cardboard, and recycling within stores
  • Tracks inventory and maintains appropriate warehouse inventory levels
  • Warehouse inventory replenishment
  • Mechanical and electrical warehouses and receiving area housekeeping
  • Monitor all remote storeroom inventory
  • Assists in reconciliation of inbound invoices
  • Receive freight deliveries
  • Unloads equipment trucks as needed
  • Maintains a database of parts and equipment ordered
  • Looks for cost reductions in the form of inventory reduction or elimination
  • Provides excellent customer service for internal and external customers
  • Model company core values

 

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two (2) years of stockroom, inventory control, warehouse, purchasing, receiving (or a combination of all); or any equivalent combination of experience and training that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of the position
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Forklift experience
  • Mechanical and mathematical aptitude
  • Must have demonstrated computer proficiency
  • Strong interpersonal and oral and written communication skills

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • MRO Inventory and warehouse experience
  • Associates degree in Business, Manufacturing, Production or related field
  • Proficient knowledge of Infor (EAM) and JD Edwards E1
