Overview

Unified is a nationwide community of providers, operations specialists and thought leaders who look for the greatest opportunities to impact every woman’s health, at every stage of their journeys. We are unparalleled in our scale and ability to adapt to address unmet and underserved needs. Through 815+ clinics, 23 IVF labs, nationwide telehealth capabilities and targeted case management, our 2,700+ independent, affiliated providers deliver comprehensive women’s health services and continuously work to implement methods and develop techniques or platforms that improve the healthcare experience. We remain focused on enabling the discovery of new ways for our affiliated providers to deliver the high-quality care experience women deserve, in the ways they most wish to receive it, and collaborate across our community to make our vision a reality.

The Director of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) – Select & Ancillary Services is responsible for leading and optimizing end-to-end revenue cycle operations for value-added services, including RCM Select, laboratory billing, imaging services, and virtual care offerings. This role ensures strong financial performance, operational scalability, and high-quality billing and collections outcomes across diversified service lines.

The Director will serve as a strategic leader partnering with clinical, operations, payer relations, and product teams to design and execute scalable RCM workflows that support women’s health, ancillary and hybrid care models.

Responsibilities

  • RCM Strategy & Leadership: Own strategy, performance, and optimization of RCM Select and ancillary revenue lines, establishing scalable operating models, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives to improve cash flow and reduce denials.
  • Ancillary Revenue Cycle Oversight: Oversee end-to-end RCM operations for lab, imaging/radiology, and virtual care services, ensuring compliant billing, coding, and payer adherence across all modalities
  • RCM Select Management: Lead execution, expansion, and profitability of RCM Select offerings, defining service tiers, SLAs, and growth targets while partnering with sales and BPI on onboarding and retention.
  • Payer & Denials Management: Drive payer performance strategy, denial prevention, appeals, and root-cause analysis, including payer-specific optimization and contract feedback loops.
  • Technology & Systems Optimization: Partner with EHR/PM teams to optimize automation, revenue integrity, and ancillary system integrations across the RCM workflow.
  • Leadership & Team Development: Lead and develop RCM teams across service lines, establish training and compliance standards, and foster a high-performance, metrics-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business, Finance, or related field or equivalent relevant professional experience
• 10+ years of progressive RCM experience in multi-specialty, hospital-based, or ancillary-heavy environments
• Strong experience with lab billing, imaging revenue cycle, or virtual care reimbursement models
• Proven leadership experience managing distributed RCM teams
• Deep knowledge of payer rules, CPT/HCPCS coding, denial management, and healthcare compliance
• Experience with EHR/PM systems (Athena, Epic, eClinicalWorks, or similar strongly preferred)
• Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into operational improvements
