To strengthen our motivated Group Information Management Team in Vienna, we are looking for a passionate IT Procurement & Vendor Manager (m/f/d). In this role, you are responsible for the professional procurement of IT services, hardware, and software, as well as managing our IT vendors at group level. You ensure transparency, cost-efficiency, and compliance across the entire vendor and contract lifecycle.
Your Role
- You are responsible for the procurement of IT services, hardware, software, cloud services, and maintenance contracts
- You conduct tenders (RFI/RFP/RFQ), including bid evaluation and award recommendations
- You lead contract negotiations (prices, terms, SLAs, compliance clauses) in close collaboration with our IT departments
- You manage the end-to-end procurement process, including demand requests, orders, and contract documentation
- You build and further develop a structured IT vendor management approach (“one face to the vendor”)
- You manage strategic IT suppliers in terms of cost, performance, risks, and dependencies
- You monitor contract and SLA compliance, conduct regular performance reviews, while identifying optimization opportunities.
- You ensure transparency on IT spend and contracts, and support budgeting, forecasting, and governance initiatives
Your Profile
- You hold a degree or completed education (e.g., in IT, business informatics, or business administration) and gain several years of professional experience in IT procurement, vendor management, or IT contract management
- You have experience in contract and price negotiations with international IT providers
- You have a strong understanding of IT services, software models, and cost structures
- You ideally have solid knowledge of software and license management (on-premise and cloud/SaaS)
- You work in a structured and analytical way and demonstrate strong assertiveness and communication skills
- You are able to think strategically while acting effectively on an operational level
- As a communication talent, you are are fluent in German and English especially for negotiations (C-Level)
