As part of our housekeeping team, you’ll play a vital role in creating clean, safe, and welcoming environments for residents, staff, and visitors. This position goes beyond routine cleaning – you’ll tackle deep cleaning projects, support infection prevention efforts, and help maintain the overall appearance and functionality of our community. What You’ll Do

You will take ownership of a wide range of cleaning and project-based tasks, including:

• Thoroughly clean interior and exterior windows, including screens
• Sweep under and around appliances (without moving them) using specialized tools
• Clean indoor and outdoor light fixtures, including ceiling domes, drop lights, porch lights, and lampposts
• Perform deep cleaning of resident rooms, bathrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas
• Wash walls, doors, baseboards, vents, ceiling grids, furniture, and stairwells
• Change curtains, blinds, draperies, and shower curtains as assigned
• Wash beds and mattresses; remake beds to ensure resident comfort
• Maintain floors through vacuuming, dust mopping, damp mopping, and periodic scrubbing, stripping, and polishing
• Shampoo carpets and upholstery using extractors when needed
• Dust high and hard-to-reach areas to support cleanliness and air quality
• Collect and dispose of trash and recycling throughout the facility
• Assist with moving furniture and equipment for deep cleaning or space configuration
• Safely operate housekeeping equipment and report any repair needs promptly
• Follow proper chemical usage and cleaning procedures for every task, wearing PPE as required
