Requirements

• Wear appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) such as gloves, safety shoes and eye protection
• Don’t leave items in aisles, on the surface floor, or perched insecurely on a surface
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in similar job
• Verbal Communication in English
• English Reading and Writing Skills
• Time Management and Organizational Skills
• Blueprint Reading Skills, Mechanical Aptitude
• Mathematic Aptitude
• Project Management Skills
• Minimum of about 2 years of basic experience / equivalent competence level in Cut-threader Operator preferred

Summary

• Performing Set-up and operate (cut threader) on a variety of steel studs
• Documents machine data qty, gauge checks all related records/files and updates as needed
• Performs machine maintenance and repairs as required using hand tools.
• Works to close tolerances and select speeds, feeds and tools for varying conditions according to reference manuals or materials for machine set ups and repair
• Reads and interprets conditions defined in reference manuals and related materials to perform repairs
• Grinds and replaces tools as required
• Documents daily activities on production ticket
• Performs other related duties as assigned
