Element has an opportunity for an Laboratory Co-ordinator to join our rapidly expanding team. As a member of the operations team, you will perform a variety of duties within the department which insures timely and accurate test results are produced by test engineers under minimal direct supervision. Quality
- Support internal audits, non-conformance investigation and closeout
- Support the calibration, maintenance and servicing of equipment
- Monitor and coordinate PT/IRR activities and support statistical analys
- Support external assessments and audits
- Maintain department and equipment documentation
Health & Safety
- Support internal investigations of incidents and near misses
- Support the production of hazardous substance and risk assessments
- Prepare and deliver SHE training for employees i.e. manual handling, working at height, IOSH etc
- Experience in a similar HSEQ role
- Preference for qualifications in IOSH managing safely, NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
- Ideally experienced in completing COSHH assessments
- Come from a testing or laboratory environment
- Automotive OEMs knowledge highly beneficial
- A proactive, motivated individual
- The ability to work on own initiative and with integrity
- Ability to communicate with people on all levels
