Job Description

Shift Details: FT - 40 hours/week

Schedule: 8:00am-5:00pm

Compensation: $75,000-$80,000 annual salary

Location: Nicollet Towers - 1350 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis, MN 55403

About the Job:

Responsible for the daily operations of the entire property, including supervision of staff, building maintenance, all administrative functions for both internal and external agencies, and maintaining positive relationships with the residents of the property and the community.

Essentials:

  • Recruit, lead, manage, train, supervise, recognize, and develop staff to achieve established objectives; provide quality services in a work environment reflecting teamwork and mutual respect.
  • Conduct or supervise annual performance reviews of all staff, including assessment of past year accomplishments corresponding to objectives set in previous reviews, coming year objectives corresponding to current program goals, and professional development objectives.
  • Meet affirmative action goals established by the organization while maintaining a work environment which respects and supports cultural competence and proficiency.
  • Establish and maintain regular office hours.
  • Supervise the property office ensuring all bookkeeping, marketing, inspections, and lease preparations are performed as required.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all pertinent resident information, and a professional relationship with residents, families, and other related stakeholders.
  • Ensure proper resident certification and re-certification and compliance with all HUD or appropriate regulatory agency's requirements.
  • Complete admission and orientation of new residents.
  • Market the property in accordance with Fair Housing Regulations and the management agent's guidelines. Provide tours to interested parties and maintain wait list according to tenant selection plan and HUD guidelines.
  • Respond to all resident requests and complaints.
  • Assure program participant privacy is maintained by being knowledgeable and following HIPAA privacy and security regulations.
  • All other duties as assigned or requested.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years managing Subsidized, Tax-Credit Multi-Family housing.
  • Professional Certification is Preferred (COS, ARM, CAM, RAM)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Real Page or similar Property Management Software, Security System, and FOB Software.
  • Effective Leader and Motivator; history of effective team building and supportive communication - overseeing leasing, compliance, maintenance, and resident relations.
