We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Purchasing Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for end-to-end procurement across third-party suppliers, including sourcing, supplier selection, negotiation, and ongoing supplier performance management.


You will play a key role in driving cost efficiencies, ensuring quality standards, and supporting both operational and strategic purchasing initiatives across the business.


Key Responsibilities



  • Negotiate competitive pricing and commercial terms with local and international suppliers

  • Manage procurement processes including sourcing, purchase orders, and supplier follow-ups

  • Identify and deliver cost reduction opportunities across products and services

  • Source and develop new suppliers to improve performance and drive savings

  • Maintain and support the Global Excellence (GE) process, including savings targets and reporting

  • Oversee MPPV tracking, reporting, and communication with global purchasing teams

  • Support sourcing of new products in collaboration with Marketing and Product Management

  • Ensure supplier agreements are in place and compliant with company policies

  • Manage supplier data, tenders, and performance via procurement systems (e.g. Bravo)

  • Work cross-functionally to forecast demand, plan purchasing, and meet deadlines

  • Support sourcing and management of facilities and services across sites


About You



  • Proven ability to meet targets and deliver measurable cost savings

  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills

  • Excellent financial and analytical capability

  • Ability to manage complex challenges and drive outcomes

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

  • High attention to detail and organisational skills

  • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels

  • Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a drive for continuous improvement

  • Strong time management skills and ability to handle competing priorities


Skills & Experience



  • Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain

  • Advanced Excel skills and intermediate MS Office capability

  • Experience working with procurement systems (e.g. Bravo) is advantageous

  • Experience working in a global or cross-functional environment is highly regarded
