POSITION OVERVIEW
The IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering cross‑functional IT Business Applications initiatives that support TAS’s rapid growth and operational scale‑up. This role serves as the execution owner for ERP, analytics, integration, and application projects—ensuring work is prioritized, coordinated, delivered on time, and adopted successfully by the business.
This role sits within the System of Management (Project Management Office) pillar of the IT Applications organization and partners closely with ERP Analysts, Data & Analytics, Integration, and business stakeholders to convert priorities into reliable outcomes.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Planning & Delivery
- Own end‑to‑end delivery of IT Business Applications projects, including ERP enhancements (Infor LN), analytics initiatives (Power BI / Fabric), integrations, and third‑party application implementations.
- Translate business priorities into clear project plans, timelines, dependencies, and milestones.
- Manage scope, risks, issues, and change requests to ensure predictable delivery and minimize disruption to operations.
Cross‑Functional Coordination
- Coordinate work across IT teams (ERP, Data, Integration, consultants) and business functions (Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, etc.).
- Serve as the primary point of accountability for project execution—ensuring decisions are documented, owners are clear, and follow‑through happens.
- Partner with vendors, consultants, and system integrators to manage deliverables, timelines, and quality.
Governance, Communication & Reporting
- Maintain structured project governance, including status reporting, risk tracking, dependency management, and escalation.
- Provide clear, concise updates to IT leadership and business stakeholders—focused on progress, risks, and next steps.
- Ensure projects meet defined success criteria and are transitioned cleanly into support and steady‑state operations.
Testing, Deployment & Adoption
- Coordinate testing/UAT, release readiness, training readiness, and go‑live activities for application changes.
- Ensure documentation, job aids, and training materials are prepared in partnership with IT and business SMEs.
- Support post‑go‑live stabilization (“hyper care”) and confirm outcomes are realized.
Portfolio & Intake Management
- Support intake, prioritization, and sequencing of IT requests in partnership with IT leadership.
- Help balance capacity, urgency, and business impact across concurrent initiatives.
- Contribute to improving repeatable delivery processes, templates, and standards across IT Applications.
- All other duties as assigned by TAS.
EDUCATION & TRAINING:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Preferred training/certifications in one or more areas: cloud data platforms, data engineering, analytics engineering, data governance, or AI fundamentals for data/analytics professionals.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience managing IT or business applications projects in a manufacturing, engineering, construction, or operations‑oriented environment.
- Proven experience delivering projects involving ERP systems, analytics/reporting platforms, and integrated application ecosystems.
- Strong ability to manage cross‑functional teams, competing priorities, and ambiguous requirements.
- Experience coordinating testing/UAT, deployments, and change adoption.
- Excellent communication skills—able to translate technical work into business‑relevant updates.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience supporting Infor LN or other enterprise ERP platforms.
- Familiarity with Power BI, analytics initiatives, or data‑driven reporting projects.
- Experience working with third‑party vendors, consultants, and system integrators.
- Exposure to integration concepts (APIs, data flows, interface dependencies).
- Experience in high‑growth or transformation environments where governance and prioritization are critical.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Position is at least 80% to 95% at a desk working with computer. Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Performs other physical activities including use of fingers, sitting, stooping, bending, crouching, talking, hearing, and performing repetitive motions. Visual acuity requirements include color, depth perception and field of vision necessary to prepare and analyze data and figures, operate a computer terminal, and conduct extensive reading. The incumbent will be subject to inside environmental conditions.
