Job Description

Here at Cerity Partners, our Human Capital (HC) team is critical to the growth of the firm, and we know that HC can transform lives and strategically grow our business. Human Capital Interns will participate in projects and assignments across all pillars of Human Capital in support of our 2026 initiatives. This role provides an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the human resources function within an organization.

This is a paid internship program (30-40 hours/week) and a great opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in a professional environment. This role is ideal for someone looking for authentic exposure to the financial industry at a nationally recognized registered investment advisory.

Primary Responsibilities:

Participate in HC team, operational and project meetings as requested

Operations:

  • Data administration and auditing for quality
  • Work visa data review and update
  • Organization of colleague documents and staging to later integrate into system colleague record
  • Assist with electronic file cleanup and staging for system integration Assist in the creation of a manual that documents procedures within the HC department
  • Participate in daily activities such as processing mail and reviewing and assigning tickets in Happy Fox

Talent Development:

  • Assist with data gathering for talent framework and competency model

Talent Acquisition:

  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Partners on process improvement initiatives, including building and maintaining a standardized job description library and early talent campaign creation in Workday
  • Support employer branding efforts by auditing current brand presence and contributing to the development of recruitment marketing content and candidate-facing materials
  • Support the CP Intern Program by gathering feedback and insights from current interns to develop strategic recommendations that elevate the 2027 summer program, including initiatives aimed at achieving recognition as a top-ranked internship program

Compensation Range:

$20-$25/hr
