Summary
CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Information Technology group. We are looking for a Senior Sitecore/.NET Developer with excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong problem solving and interpersonal skills, meet deadlines and manage changing priorities, be able to quickly learn emerging technologies with the ability to resolve complex issues.
Responsibilities
- Work in multiple .NET/Sitecore CMS projects doing requirement gathering, understanding acceptance criteria, analysis, design, development, debug, unit test, document, and review of development efforts.
- Develop and configure websites, web apps, CMS, and eCommerce systems.
- Manage workload using Agile sprints, accurately estimate effort for tasks, and work with business users and other stakeholders on priorities, and work towards completing it.
- Recognize the critical elements of complex application problems, develop, and evaluate data, determine solutions, and make logical recommendations.
- Work closely with the value stream members to deliver the development objects on time meeting CHS quality standards.
- Comfort with group estimating and a willingness to voice an opinion against the grain.
- Ensure delivery of high-quality products by adhering to CHS development standards and guidelines, performing code reviews and unit tests.
- Operate within the ITSM framework and adhere to SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Remain current with newer capabilities in the Web/Sitecore development framework and make recommendations when appropriate for continuous improvement.
- Maintain effective, collaborative and cooperative working relationships with technical and functional team members, peers, process owners, and users.
- Provide communications to business and IT stakeholders on projects and work in progress.
- Guide and advise less experienced team members.
- Attend user groups, webinars, training, workshops, or conferences to learn new technologies and skills.
- Provide Advance Business Application (ABAP) technical support for patch and release upgrades, meet regulatory compliance requirements periodically audit standards.
Minimum Qualifications (required)
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field (or equivalent years of work experience, education and/or training)
- 4+ years of hands-on front-end UI technologies including .NET, HTML, CSS, SASS, JQuery and JavaScript experience development experience
- 0-1+ years of Sitecore (version 9.0 +) development experience
Additional Qualifications
- 2+ years of Sitecore (version 9.0 +) development experience
- Ability to handle compatibility between browsers (Chrome, Safari, Edge/IE, etc.)
- Ability to take a mockup or design and implement a UI that reasonably reflects it
- Moderate understanding of relational database structures, theories, principles, and practices
- Optimizing apps for mobile experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of Web Services – SOAP/RESTful services in a SOA
- Knowledge of MVC, Razor, GIT and .NET design patterns
- Sitecore (version 9.x) development experience
- Helix Architecture: Foundation, Feature and Project Layers
- Capability to demonstrate responsive or mobile-first design techniques
- SOLR setup and configuration
- SXA principles, creating and configuring SXA components
- Knowledge of Creative Exchange
- Working knowledge of user experience, usability best practices and ADA compliance
- Experience in Agile, ITSM, DevOps
- Experience with Angular, React
- Experience with other content management systems such as Adobe CMS
- Experience with Sitecore Content Hub
- Experience with ecommerce platform (Sitecore XP, SXA, Shopify, SAP)
- Experience with Web Forms
- Experience working with Octopus
- Experience with Yaml build/pipeline
- Experience with AD, ADFS, Okta, PowerBI, SQL Server, PowerShell, Azure DevOps
