JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

This position is for a high school teacher under contract with a district in Douglas, Dodge, Sarpy, or Washington counties to teach MCC Construction courses for dual credit at their home high school.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:

•    Deliver MCC course objectives in the high school dual credit classroom
•    Ensure academic rigor aligns with on-campus expectations
•    Participate in departmental course assessments
•    Complete required curriculum training
•    Maintain an MCC-aligned course syllabus
•    Uphold professional and ethical standards 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

•   8 years full-time related occupational experience or approved Journey worker status.
OR
• 4 years full-time related occupational experience and an Associate’s degree in career field.
OR
2 years full-time related occupational experience and a Bachelor’s degree in the discipline or in a related discipline.
•    Currently employed high school teacher who will be under contract with a local school district in Douglas, Dodge, Sarpy or Washington counties
