Job Description

Come be the spark at Warm Hearth! We're looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented Maintenance Tech at the Showalter Center, assisted living community. This position will be part of a two-person team responsible for facility maintenance, including responding to a daily list of work orders and requests from residents. Thus, it's essential that the tech be able to communicate clearly and respond quickly. Key to success in this role will be a commitment to outstanding resident care, a friendly attitude, and the ability to prioritize tasks as they arise. 

This is a FT position. Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm 


Expected pay rate is competitive. We also offer a robust benefits package. Full Time employees earn four weeks of PTO per year and have access to 5 days (40 hours) of PTO upon hire. Requirements:


  • Working knowledge of maintenance activities including electrical, plumbing, and painting.
  • Previous experience in a position that involved interacting with the public.
  • Valid Driver's License and proof of insurance.
  • Clean criminal background. 

Preferences:


  • Knowledge and skills in all maintenance activities including electrical, plumbing and painting. Preference given for experience in property or health care facility maintenance.
