Job Summary
The Service Parts Specialist supports customer orders for Solar parts and helps accept orders, prepare shipments, and send invoices correctly and on time. The work includes handling shipping, inventory, and customer accounts. The role manages many orders and supports large annual sales.
Reporting & Team
- Reports to the Service Parts Group Manager
- Works with experienced coworkers and
- Each employee is responsible for specific customer accounts
- Senior staff help with complex orders
Main Duties
- Process customer orders, quotes, shipments, returns, and transfers
- Support warehouse and repair operations
- Check part numbers, prices, and delivery times
- Prepare and send quotes and order confirmations
- Review customer purchase orders and resolve problems
- Enter orders into the system and confirm details with customers
- Keep customers updated on order and delivery status
- Work with other departments to meet delivery dates
- Arrange shipping, packaging, export rules, and customs requirements
- Monitor shipments and invoices and solve customer issues
Communication & Contacts
- Regular contact with customers and represents Solar professionally
- Works with distributors, agents, freight companies, and many internal teams (Finance, Legal, Warehouse, Planning, Purchasing, Field Service, etc.)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred OR relevant work experience
- Minimum 2 years related experience
- Good written and spoken communication skills
- Computer skills (word processing and spreadsheets etc)
Work Conditions
- On‑site work, 5 days per week
- No visa sponsorship available
