About the role.
As the Brand Manager FS & Local QSR, you will support and drive the identification and capitalization on growth opportunities within the potato and appetizer categories for the Foodservice and Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) markets. Your scope will cover Poland, the Baltics (Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia), Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and Hungary.
You will play a pivotal role in delivering against business objectives for these regions, successfully activating strategic propositions in close collaboration with local commercial teams and the Central European Marketing team. You will contribute to McCain’s regional growth and strategic ambitions by executing impactful initiatives and market-driven solutions.
You will report directly to the Marketing manager FS & local QSR
What you’ll be doing.
- Supports and activate prioritized business opportunities in FS(Food Service) and Local Quick Service Restaurant (QSR)
- Implementation of marketing plans, including (trade) marketing plans.
- Delivers against the (online-offline) activation calendar with focus on the lead generation objectives via campaigns and tradeshows.
- Collaboration with the Sales teams across the region: Poland and the Baltics (Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia), Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Hungary
- Conduct market analysis and gain insights specific to the cluster, identifying and translating them into business opportunities.
- Utilize market and customer insights to develop customer specific value propositions for customers.
- Deliver strategic win-win solutions through category management principles and LTO focus.
- Organizes and drives local customer engagement projects (tastings, potato days, ethnographies)
- Supervising the organization of visits of cooperating teams to the factory in Strzelin, perform product testing, as well as organize participation in events and fairs.
- Be and act as a team member based on the McCain Leadership Principle
What you’ll need to be successful.
- 2+ years of experience in marketing role, ideally in FMCG environment
- Preferred marketing background in Foodservice
- Bachelor or Master degree in Business/Marketing/Communications or a related discipline preferred
- Be able to manage multiple projects in an engaging & multicultural environment
- Team player, proactive, entrepreneurial, structured and able to work independently
- Excellent communication skills, written and spoken
- Very strong command of English and Polish language, written & spoken
- Project management skills
- Passion for food and foodservice market (must like it to deal with customers)
- Digital affinity with lead generation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel frequently for business purposes.
