Pay Range:

$17.97 - $27.86

  • High school level of knowledge. Previous experience or graduated from a Nursing Assistant or EMT program preferred.

  • BLS certification required or obtained within 3 months of hire or transfer.

  • Licensing: Proof of Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification from an approved institution or training program preferred.

  • Unless otherwise indicated, one year of current experience within the last three years in a comparable job classification required

  • Works effectively with others, possess tact, discretion and diplomacy

  • Ability to work under stress and complete duties, sometimes with numerous interruptions. 

  • Must be able to communicate information to supervisor and co- workers.

  • Must be familiar with equipment used to move patients and take vital signs.

  • Ability to understand printed health related material.

  • Completion of hospital based Internship which includes coursework and clinical time up to 6 weeks along with proficiencies demonstrated in competencies for phlebotomy and EKG.
