In this high-ownership role, you'll lead the systems layout on the vehicle, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to optimize size, weight, and cost. This involves managing the product structure, creating diverse zonal configurations, and spearheading iterative design discussions with key stakeholders to deliver a cohesive final product. What You'll Do
  • Lead vehicle systems layout configuration.
  • Create and manage the product structure.
  • Drive iterative design discussions with key stakeholders to ensure a cohesive final product.
  • Manage physical and electrical interfaces across stakeholder teams.
  • Develop critical tools within NX functions (such as mass rollups & EBOM exports)


  • Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
  • Knowledge of aircraft systems (e.g., avionics, flight controls, hydraulics, electrical power distribution, environmental control systems, propulsion).
  • Strong CAD skills (NX preferred) with integration experience
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a highly collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.


  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with UAVs, aircraft, or robotic systems 
  • Proven experience leading technical integration efforts and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Materials selection inclusive of alloys, heat treatments, allowables, and finishes 
  • Hands-on machine shop or mechanic experience (professional or hobby) 
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
