Job Summary:
LSH Elementary is seeking responsible, energetic, and caring individual to join our team as a Playground/Recess Supervisor Substitute. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the safety and well-being of students during outdoor recess and playground activities.

Hours: 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM, Monday through Friday
Approximate end date: May 1, 2026

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and supervise students during recess times
• Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all students
• Promote positive behavior and resolve minor conflicts among students
• Assist with maintaining playground equipment and ensuring it is used appropriately
• Follow all school policies and procedures to ensure student safety
• Report any concerns or incidents to school staff

Qualifications:

• Ability to work well with elementary-aged children
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and manage groups of children
• Reliable and punctual
• Previous experience in a school or childcare setting is a plus, but not required
