Job Description

Fallbrook Union Elementary School District is a K-8 district.  


The successful candidate must be able to accomplish the following responsibilities in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner:


 



  • Assist students with a patient and friendly attitude and provide general support in a non-judgemental, non-reactive manner. 

  • Assists instructional personnel with the development and presentation of a variety of instructional materials and instructional exercises. 

  • Assists students in a group, or an individual basis, with specific instructional tasks and or specific student goals to accommodate their development and growth. 

  • Assists with data collection and assessments for student IEP goals and behavior support services. 


 


DETAILS FOR THIS POSITION:  



  • APPLICATION DEADLINE: May 12, 2026 - 4:00 p.m. 

  • LENGTH OF WORK YEAR: Student Year Employee Calendar 

  • WORK SITE: Maie Ellis Elementary    

  • WORK SCHEDULE: 6.0 hours/day, 5 days/week, Monday - Friday, 7:55 a.m. - 2:25 p.m.

  • BENEFITS: Benefit package includes, Health and Welfare, paid sick leave, vacation, and holidays (currently observing 14 paid holidays a year).

  • REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLYING: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade; and either an Associate’s Degree of Arts (AA) or have completed 48 college/university semester units or pass the FUESD proficiency test for this classification; Maintain Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification provided by the district. 

  • Maintain CPR and first aid certification as provided by the District. 

  • Within the probationary period, paraprofessionals will be expected to participate in District-wide training /supervision and receive a District Certificate of Competence.

  • A proficiency test is not required if you have an Associate's or Bachelor's degree; however, proof of degree must be scanned and submitted (uploaded and attached) to your application.
