Job Summary

Join the recreation staff at Massanutten Resort and be a part of our growing department. The Perfect Break is our latest state-of-the-art entertainment facility at Massanutten Resort. The Perfect Break building is a new adventure for our guests, with everything from food and beverage offerings to Game Up E-Sports computers and two Top Golf Swing Suites. The Perfect Break Lead Supervisor will be a dynamic individual who can lead our staff to success. The right candidate will have strong customer service skills and be detail oriented. We offer flexible schedules, as well as a strong team-oriented work atmosphere.

Required

  • One or more years of supervisory experience
  • One or more years of working with the public
  • CPR/First Aid Certified
  • Virginia ABC MART Certification
  • Must be 21 or older

Preferred

  • Restaurant Server experience
  • Two-year degree in an associated field 
  • Knowledge of the resort and resort operations

Typical Schedule

Days:

  • Days vary from week to week
    • including weekends and holidays

Hours:

  • 30 to 40 Hours
    • Varies, including nights

Core Responsibilities

  • Maintain stock for all necessary activities.  Includes taking stock of items and placing orders for food and beverage items as needed as well as keeping stock of necessary items for entertainment products
  • Oversee the daily operations of The Perfect Break facility and ensure that all paperwork and sign-ups are accounted for
  • Recruit, train, and evaluate staff in conjunction with Massanutten Fitness and Rec Club Management
  • Serve as the main staff representative for guest concerns and questions, with a focus on responding while keeping the resort pillars and mission statement in mind
  • Plan and run weekly E-Sports Tournaments and Golf Simulator Leagues
  • Other duties as assigned by management
