Key Responsibilities - Perform and document basic patient care tasks under RN supervision while maintaining required competencies.
- Assist with patient flow and communication using multi‑line phones, call systems, and telecommunication devices.
- Maintain a clean, safe care environment; identify and report safety hazards and complete required safety event reports.
- Initiate emergency calls, including Code Blue, Fire, Special Alert, and Rapid Response per hospital protocol.
- Support documentation, medical record maintenance, and computer downtime procedures per TriHealth standards.
- Communicate respectfully with patients, families, and healthcare team members, escalating concerns as needed.
- Ensure equipment and supplies are available, functional, and properly maintained.
Qualifications Required - Minimum 2 years of high school education.
- Age 17 with work permit.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.
- Reading and math proficiency appropriate for role.
- Experience with multi‑line phones, call systems, and pagers.
Preferred - Experience with clinical computer applications or hospital support systems.
- Prior experience in patient care or hospital support environment.
Schedule & Work Location - FTE: Part Time - 2 - 12 hr shifts/ week
