The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of the clinical research ecosystem, demonstrates a consultative selling mindset, and can clearly articulate the value of technology-driven, AI-enabled solutions to diverse stakeholders. This role partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Delivery teams to drive pipeline growth and long-term customer relationships.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

1. Business Development and Client Engagement

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CRO, and healthcare markets.
  • Serve as a primary sponsor liaison, delivering responsive, high-quality customer engagement across the sales lifecycle.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and influencers to support new business, renewals, and expansion opportunities.
  • Proactively identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing client accounts.

2. Proposal, Budget, and Contract Development

  • Act as a central point of contact for drafting revenue-generating proposals, budgets, and estimates across all stages of the sales cycle.
  • Support the development of RFPs, RFIs, Statements of Work, Change Orders, and commercial proposals.
  • Ensure timely turnaround, typically within one to three business days, for key sales deliverables.
  • Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure proposals are accurate, compliant, and aligned with solution capabilities.

3. CRM, Pipeline, and Sales Operations

  • Leverage HubSpot CRM to manage leads, track opportunities, and drive consistent customer outreach and follow-up.
  • Serve as a custodian of the CRM pipeline, ensuring data accuracy, visibility, and active progression of opportunities.
  • Monitor sales activity trends and provide insights to support forecasting and pipeline reviews.
  • Support continuous improvement of sales workflows, reporting, and CRM utilization.

4. Marketing and Brand Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Marketing on go-to-market initiatives, campaign execution, and targeted outreach strategies.
  • Support trade show planning, conference participation, and lead follow-up activities to drive demand generation.
  • Contribute to messaging that clearly communicates EDETEK’s differentiated value in clinical technology and AI-enabled platforms.
  • Provide market and customer feedback to inform positioning and content development.

5. Market Intelligence and Strategic Support

  • Stay current on trends in clinical research, clinical technology, AI in life sciences, and competitive offerings.
  • Provide market insights that inform sales strategy, solution development, and account targeting.
  • Support senior sales and leadership teams with account research, opportunity qualification, and strategic planning.
