Join Our Team: Activities Assistant – Special Memory Care Program

Facility: Mary Immaculate

Program: Special Memory Care "Center of Excellence"

Status: Per Diem

Shift: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Includes every other weekend)

 

About the Role

Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors? Mary Immaculate is seeking a creative and compassionate Activities Assistant to join our newly expanded and renovated Memory Care Center of Excellence.

In this role, you will provide innovative, specialized programming designed specifically for residents in the later stages of memory care. You will be a key part of a team dedicated to enhancing the quality of life, dignity, and engagement of our residents through thoughtful and therapeutic activities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Innovative Programming: Lead and implement specialized activity sessions tailored to the needs of residents in a high-acuity memory care setting.

  • Resident Engagement: Foster a warm, supportive environment that encourages social interaction and cognitive stimulation.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the clinical and activities teams to ensure a holistic approach to resident well-being.

  • Excellence in Care: Maintain the high standards of our "Center of Excellence" by providing patient, person-centered interactions.

Qualifications

  • Experience in memory care or long-term care activities preferred.

  • A compassionate, patient, and energetic personality.

  • Ability to work a flexible per-diem schedule, including every other weekend.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
