Job Description

Commercial Roofing Project Manager
Location: Springfield, MA
Territory: Projects throughout New England (MA, CT, RI, NH, VT, ME)
Job Type: Full-Time

JD Rivet Roofing, sister company of Ameritech Contracting, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Roofing Project Manager to oversee roofing projects from contract award through final completion. The Project Manager will coordinate crews, subcontractors, materials, schedules, and budgets to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining the quality standards JD Rivet Roofing is known for. This role serves as the primary link between clients, field supervisors, and company leadership.

 

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

  • Manage roofing projects from pre-construction through final closeout
  • Develop project schedules and ensure milestones are met
  • Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
  • Work closely with Roofing Foremen to ensure efficient job site operations
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, safety, and quality
  • Resolve job site challenges and maintain production timelines

Budget & Cost Management

  • Review job cost reports and identify opportunities to improve profitability
  • Manage change orders and cost adjustments when necessary
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, property owners, and general contractors
  • Provide project updates and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Ensure job sites meet OSHA safety standards and company safety policies
  • Promote a culture of safety across all project teams

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain project documentation including contracts, change orders, permits, and closeout materials
  • Provide progress reports to company leadership
  • Support final inspections and project turnover
